Collections & Items
Web: Click the "+" button on the Collections page or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + N.
iOS/Android: Tap the "+" floating action button on the Collections tab. Enter a name, select a category, and optionally add a description and cover image.
Collections can contain items of any category - you're not limited to one type per collection.
There are several ways to add items:
- Manual entry: Click/tap "Add Item" and fill in the details
- AI identification: Take a photo and let AI fill in the details
- Barcode scan: Scan a barcode for quick lookup
- Import: Import from CSV or other formats (Pro+ plans)
Collections can have nested folders to organize items:
- Open a collection
- Click/tap "New Folder"
- Name your folder (e.g., "1964 Coins", "PSA 10 Cards")
- Drag items into folders or select folder when creating items
Folders can be nested up to 5 levels deep.
Web: Drag and drop images onto the item, or click the image area to browse files.
iOS/Android: Tap the camera icon to take a new photo, or tap the gallery icon to select from your device.
You can add multiple images per item (limit depends on your plan). Mark one image as "primary" to show as the thumbnail. Image types include: Front, Back, Edge, Slab, Detail.
CollectLogix supports all major grading services:
- Coins: PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG, CACG
- Cards: PSA, BGS, SGC, CSG, HGA, CGC
- Comics: CGC, CBCS, PGX
- Stamps: PSE, PF
Enter the certification number to enable automatic verification and population report lookup.
Select multiple items to perform batch operations:
Web: Hold Ctrl/Cmd and click items, or use Shift-click for range selection.
Mobile: Long-press an item to enter selection mode, then tap additional items.
Available batch actions: Edit (change status, collection), Delete, Export, Generate labels.
AI Identification
Our AI uses Google Gemini Pro Vision to analyze photos of your collectibles:
- Take or upload a clear photo of your item
- Optionally select a category hint (e.g., "Coins", "Trading Cards")
- AI analyzes the image and returns identification results
- Review the results, including confidence scores
- Accept to create an item with auto-filled details, or edit first
Note: AI identification is an estimation, not official certification.
For best results:
- Good lighting: Natural light or bright, even artificial light
- Focus: Ensure the item is sharp and in focus
- Background: Plain, contrasting background works best
- Angle: Straight-on for flat items (coins, cards)
- Multiple photos: Front and back improve accuracy
- Avoid glare: Minimize reflections on slabbed items
AI identification can be affected by:
- Poor image quality or lighting
- Unusual varieties or rare items not in training data
- Heavily worn or damaged items
- Counterfeits that are difficult to detect visually
- Similar-looking items from different years/mints
Always verify AI results for valuable items. The confidence score indicates how certain the AI is - lower scores mean more uncertainty.
AI identification limits by plan:
- Free: 10 per month
- Collector: 100 per month
- Pro: 500 per month
- Dealer: Unlimited
Credits reset on your billing date. Unused credits don't roll over. View your usage in Account Settings.
Account & Security
We strongly recommend enabling MFA:
- Go to Account Settings > Security
- Click/tap "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password)
- Enter the 6-digit code to verify
- Important: Save your backup codes in a secure location
Once enabled, you'll need your authenticator code to log in.
To change your password:
- Go to Account Settings > Security
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter your current password
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Click "Update Password"
Tip: Use a password manager and create a unique password of at least 12 characters.
View and manage your login sessions:
- Go to Account Settings > Security > Active Sessions
- See all devices where you're logged in
- Click "Log out" next to any session to end it
- Click "Log out all other sessions" to sign out everywhere except your current device
If you see an unfamiliar session, log it out immediately and change your password.
Export your collection data (Pro+ plans):
- Go to Account Settings > Data > Export
- Select what to export (All data, specific collections, etc.)
- Choose format: CSV, Excel, JSON, or PDF
- Click "Generate Export"
- Download when ready (you'll receive an email notification)
For GDPR data requests, use the "Request Full Data Export" option to receive all personal data we hold.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Export your data first (see above)
- Cancel any active subscriptions
- Go to Account Settings > Account > Delete Account
- Enter your password to confirm
- Click "Permanently Delete Account"
Your data will be deleted within 90 days in accordance with our data retention policy.
